Rooted in a Rich Heritage

Bland Farms takes great pride in being a family owned and operated business. The history of Bland Farms dates back more than 60 years to when Raymond Bland began a 50-acre farm by planting peanuts, corn, and tomatoes. The entire Bland family was involved and the operation grew. In 1976 Bland Farms entered the onion business with Raymond's son, Delbert, determined to grow the farm into the preeminent grower, packer, and shipper of the now famous Vidalia® sweet onion. What was once a seasonal operation has since evolved into a multi-national year-round provider of sweet onions with a third generation of Blands holding key leadership positions.
