Bland Farms ships sweet onions from many locations in the United States fulfillling retailers' needs in any store, 52 weeks out of the year. From our state of the art packing line technology to our product tracking capabilities, Bland Farms is in tune with the customer's needs from field to box.
Head-quartered in Glennville, Georgia, Bland Farms is an industry-recognized name for Vidalia Sweet Onions and represents almost one-third of all Vidalia onions marketed. Without a doubt, product quality, service, and attention to detail has sustained the growth of Bland Farms to become the largest grower, packer, and shipper of sweet onions in the country.
The once seasonal operation is now multi-national with U.S. locations in Georgia, Florida, Utah, Pennsylvania, New York, California, as well as the countries of Peru, Mexico and Ecuador. In 2008, Bland Farms opened a new cross-docking facility in Donna, Texas valued at more than 6 million dollars. The year of 2009 has continued the growth and expansion of Bland Farms with the purchase of Zappala Farms, the Empire-Sweets Brand and the construction of Bellville Agri-Solutions, an agricultural fertilizer, chemical and services facility.
