Goes Great with
French Onion Dip
Ingredients:
- 2 medium Bland Farms® Vidalia® or Premium Sweet Onions, diced
- 1 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon Vidalia Brands® French Onion Seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Fresh cracked pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Over medium heat in a sauté pan add olive oil.
- Once the olive oil is heated, add the butter, onions and salt
- Cook the onions until they are caramelized, about 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
- Mix the rest of the ingredients and then stir in the cooled onions.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour to marry the flavors.
- Stir before serving.
- Serve with seasonal vegetables, chips, or crackers.
