Grilled Vidalia® Sweet Onion Burger
- 1 large Bland Farms® Vidalia® Onion, sliced into 4 (1-inch-thick) slices
- Wooden skewers, soaked at least 1 hour in water
- Vidalia Brands® Special Blend Seasoning Salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- 4 slices Havarti cheese
- Tomato slices
- 4 pretzel buns
- Olive oil
- Vidalia Brands® Blossom Sauce

- HERO Charcoal Pods (2 Pack)
- Fire & Flavor Charcoal for a conventional grill
- Preheat grill to medium heat. Thread soaked skewers through sides of onion slices, to place onion slices side by side. Brush onions with olive oil on both sides, and season with Vidalia Brands® Special Blend Seasoning Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Set aside.
- Add onion to grill; grill until tender and slightly charred on both sides. During last minute of grilling, top with cheese to melt. Remove onion from grill.
- Brush pretzel buns with olive oil and place on grill to toast. Add grilled onion slices to toasted buns, and top lettuce, tomato, Vidalia Brands® Blossom Sauce, and your favorite condiments.
