Bland Farms Caramelized Premium Sweet Onion, Fig & Prosciutto Pizza

Ingredients

1 Pizza Crust
1 large Bland Farms Premium Sweet Onion, sliced
2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
Vidalia Brands Special Blend Seasoning Salt
Honey
Olive Oil
4 Fresh Figs (quartered or sliced)
4 slices Prosciutto (divided into 8 pieces)
Goat Cheese Crumbles
Fresh Mozzarella
Dried or Fresh Thyme
Balsamic Glaze

Instructions

1. Set Weber Gas Grill to medium heat.

2. Melt butter in a Weber Grill pan. Add onions and ½ tsp Vidalia Brands Special Blend Seasoning Salt. Cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring often. If they start to burn, lower the heat.

3. Once the onions are soft and golden, add in brown sugar and cook for 1 minute. Transfer onions to a bowl and set aside.

4. Turn the heat up on the grill to 550 degrees and add the Weber Pizza Stone.

5. Brush the pizza dough with olive oil and honey.

6. Add mozzarella cheese, figs, Prosciutto, caramelized onions, and goat cheese to the pizza; spread out evenly. Sprinkle thyme evenly around the pizza.

7. Place pizza on the Weber Pizza Stone and bake for about 12 minutes.

8. Check the pizza for 10 minutes to ensure it is not burning. Adjust cooking time to your desired crispness.
