A Day In The Life Of Our Moms At Work
Featuring Mary Katelyn Bland and Meg Robinson

What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Mary Katelyn Bland: I never get in the bed! Right now, since Troy Harris still gets up during the night, I do night duty and usually sleep on the couch then tag team with my momma in the morning to take over while I get ready for work.

What does a typical day look like for you at Bland Farms?
Meg: Every day is different! I do account management with my current customers, so I check in with them and service their needs. I also do outreach to prospects as well as sales analysis on our inventory to see what we need to be focusing on selling.

What three words would you use to describe your role?
Mary Katelyn: catch all, support, cheerleader

How do you juggle motherhood and your role at Bland?
Meg: Bremen is in daycare so that allows me to focus on work during the days. I wake up an hour earlier than I used to so that I can spend time with Bremen. Also, my husband is great about helping and helping me achieve what is important to me.

What do you love most about being a mom?
Mary Katelyn: it is my greatest accomplishment! I love watching them grow and change although it can be tiring, every time I see them, I have a big smile. It is very rewarding.

What was most shocking to you after the baby/babies were born?
Meg: The loss of freedom. You just can’t drop everything and go to the grocery store without thinking about Bremen!

Our Baby Blands, Troy Harris and Rubye Kate, are now 9 months old and dressed in their Valentine’s Day finest…now how sweet is that?
