Bland Farms is deeply committed to supporting and enriching our community through various charitable initiatives. From educational scholarships and food bank contributions to breast cancer awareness and faith-based sports programs, we strive to make a positive impact. Our efforts reflect our core values of hard work, perseverance, and faith, and we’re proud to give back to the community that has supported us throughout the years.

Through hard-work, perseverance, and faith Bland Farms has developed into a produce industry leader. With the Raymond D. Bland Scholarship for Agriculture, Bland Farms seeks to reward students who have demonstrated similar qualities to those of Bland Farms and are in pursuit of an agriculturally related field of study. Bland Farms will award two scholarships of $1000 each to two qualifying high school graduates in the Glennville, Georgia area. Applicants must pursue an agricultural or agricultural related field of study. Recipients chosen must begin post secondary studies within one year of high school graduation. Applicants are evaluated on a range of qualifications including GPA, community involvement, and school activities. Preference is given to individuals with documented learning disabilities and/or financial need.

America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia

Established in 1981, America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia is a locally inspired, volunteer-driven nonprofit food bank and community-building organization with the mission of feeding hungry people and strengthening communities in our twenty-one county service area. Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia cultivates partnerships with more than 300 agencies to distribute food to families in need throughout southeastern Georgia. Bland Farms is proud to be one of the many suppliers to America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, providing 4,000 lbs of onions weekly to them. During the month of October Bland Farms packages sweet onions in pink packaging to bring awareness to a cause that has touched us all in one way or another. In addition to the pink packaging, Bland Farms makes a yearly monetary donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
