Mix the softened cream cheese with the minced jalapeno, egg and 2 tablespoons of bread crumbs. Set aside.
Separate the layers of each onion quarter. Blanch onion petals in boiling water for 10 seconds and then shock in an ice water bath. Remove to paper towels to dry.
Fill each blanched onion petal with one teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture, and roll to close. Freeze until set, approximately 20-30 minutes.
Mix Vidalia Brands Onion Ring Batter, according to package directions. Dip each frozen filled onion petal in prepared batter, and then Panko bread crumbs. Deep Fry Breaded Poppers at 350 degrees until golden brown and serve with Vidalia Brands Blossom Sauce.
