Job Summary

Responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to Accounting Department personnel. Maintains accounting document files, keys daily worksheets and data into the accounting system, records journal entries into the general ledger system.   Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.

Responsibilities

  • Preform the day to day processing of accounting transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
  • Assumes responsibility for performing assigned accounting and related clerical support functions.
  • Maintains files, including filing of general ledger journal vouchers, accounts payable documentation, and other miscellaneous filings.
  • Types a variety of documents, reports, and records.
  • Keys daily worksheets to the general ledger system and records approved journal entries.
  • Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany transactions). Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs.
  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
  • Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
  • Input credit and debits to the accounting system as requested.
  • Input general ledger entries for account changes.
  • Develop and maintain reports and files on asset and liability account balances.
  • Ensure accurate balancing from a corporate perspective from our subsidiaries.
  • Ensure accurate entry of intercompany transactions.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports via the company’s accounting system. Prepares consolidated internal and external reports by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
  • Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
  • Compiles and sorts documents, such as: invoices, work orders, checks, vouchers, and substantiates business transactions.
  • Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as: funds received and disbursed; totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.
  • Tracks company credit card charges and reconciles statements.
  • Performs periodic and as needed inventory.
  • Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
  • Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
  • Assists in the preparation of management reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives.
  • Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
  • Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
  • Preform other accounting duties as assigned.

Work Experience Required

  • 2+ years of Accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Must be well organized and a self-starter.

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred.

Job Summary

Spanish and English proficiency required, the Senior Accountant is responsible for general ledger accountability, financial reporting and analysis, tax analysis, and budgeting. This includes the preparation of financial and business related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.  Provide financial, administrative, and clerical support for the finance department.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
  • Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
  • Analyze financial statements on a monthly basis.
  • Preparation of management reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports.
  • Preparation and review of cost accounting reports including cost per unit analysis.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits.
  • Assists with preparing tax returns.
  • Review bank statements and reconciliations.
  • Assists in the coordination of annual budget process.
  • Assists with financial forecasting.
  • Review and assists with preparing transaction tax returns for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings.
  • Researching transaction tax issues.
  • Provide guidance based on research of transaction tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepares estimated and tax federal and state income tax payments.
  • Perform year end accrual review and prepare the tax provision.
  • Assists with compilation and analysis of consolidated budgets and long range plans.
  • Assists with special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analysis.
  • Assist in the implementation of new systems, policies and procedures.
  • Training associates and coordinators.
  • Preform other accounting duties as assigned.
 

Work Experience Required

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • 7-10 years of related experience.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Highly developed analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Must be well organized and a self-starter.
 

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.

Job Summary

This position ensures the proper operation of all elements necessary to guarantee optimal functioning grading line. The Grader Supervisor will guarantee production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery. . This position will make sure People, Materials and equipment are in place to guarantee operability.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Machine operator will make sure he/she understands all following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; plus all troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • He/she will make sure all machines are ready to run before floor workers come in to work.
  • This position will coordinate the preparation of all grading equipment, Bins, label, UPC and G-tin and will also make sure they are in good condition and correct according to what the customer need and requirements.
  • He/she will make sure that all the orders are completed on time and meet all specification from his/her Supervisor.
  • When needed, will assist on removing defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and needs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maximize equipment reliability through using planned maintenance most effectively
 

Work Experience Required

  • Technical Understanding on Equipment Maintenance. Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity are important characteristics for a machine operator Supervisor. Good reading comprehension is also necessary to understand the technical manuals of a wide range of machines. And, in general, good physical conditioning and agility are necessary because industrial machinery.
 

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • 3 Years of Experience, High school Diploma or Industrial Maintenance Technician.
